Github:  UOL-Y2P-WearableSensor  (all sub-repositories will be published soon) Poster: Summary of the project: During the first two weeks, the whole development was broken down to software and hardware, developed separately, with 3 students working on the software and 2 students working on the hardware. Additionally, the integration system was developed to interface the two. In the third week, the whole path for transmitting IMU data was completed, however, during the integration process we encountered an issue with the Arduino which disconnected it from the server. Further investigation revealed that the internal IMU and the Wi-Fi module had signalling issues, which led to the issue. After researching, we determined that the root cause of this issue was a design flaw in the board. To address such issue, we made a hardware improvement to it, which effectively resolved the problem. [Week 2] A few tricky issues but still making progress

Figure 1: Schedule for this week. Acceptable delay Due to MRS students' own assignment, the DDL of Task-2 "Read multiple IMUs via multiplexer" is postponed to Thursday evening this week. Additionally, the modeling of 3D-printing parts is assigned to Yixiao temporarily.  Progress in this week & related issues: 1. Read multiple IMUs via multiplexer (Aurora & Jiajun)  We are now able to fetch data from up to 8 IMUs. Meanwhile, we also tried to find out current data rate. In the first attempt, we synchronized the real data rate with the rate transferred to the computer, which was only 5Hz under a 9600 Baud rate.  Figure 2: Shows the previous test for calculating at the wrong data rate. As Yixiao thought the sensor frequency calculated in the intial test was too low, we reworked the test speed by improving the baud rate. [Week 1] A good start

Overview for the four weeks: During the initial two weeks, the software and hardware components of the project will be developed separately, with 3 MRS students working on the software and 2 CSEE students working on the hardware. If possible, during the third week, the software and hardware will be integrated to create a complete system that can be tested on humans. The final week has been scheduled for additional debugging and refinement, if necessary. Progress in this week: Hardware 1. HW-Task-0-"collect ordered components" has been 100% finished. Next stage: Yixiao will be responsible for sending out the third component order, which includes elastic bands & screws. 2. HW-Task-1-"read single IMU" has been 100% finished by Aurora & Jiajun.          Next stage: move to  HW-Task-2- "read multiple IMUs using multiplexer". 3.
